Ion exchange is the most basic, versatile and widely used method of demineralization. This procedure removes inorganics from water, wastewater and organic chemicals. Our mobile treatment systems offer configuration flexibility with units providing up to 750 cubic feet of media per 48 foot trailer with a flow capacity of 10 to 500 gallons per minute.
Portable ion exchange systems are also available that can be shipped by common carrier. When the resin is exhausted it is returned to our facility for regeneration and fresh resin is exchanged for the spent media.
We also offer a range of filtration services, utilizing single and multi-media filter beds, which are designed to remove undissolved impurities from liquids.

Reverse Osmosis (RO), Microfiltration (MF) and Ultrafiltration (UF) are the three basic types of membrane systems we offer.
RO is used to remove dissolved salts from liquid streams. RO is often the best way to produce fresh water from salt or brackish water or to concentrate waste.
MF & UF, similar to RO, which are used to separate small suspended solids from a liquid stream. MF & UF are often the most economical means to achieve low turbidity streams.
Our membrane separation system capacities range in size from 40,000 to 1.5 million gallons per day. MPT has a long history of successfully treating different types of streams, such as boiler feedwater, river water and chemical process water with membrane technology.
